Decent hotel and Spa, indecent pool and qirks.

The Spa was the main reason for using this hotel and was great although a little dated now, the staff, the cleanliness,the breakfast outside area, the unusually light and airy interior and especially corridors etc, the beds were nice and wide and reasonable mattresses, the air con was efficient, there was a suitcase unpacking area and the spacious bathroom.

The drive up and drop off was rather difficult as it was just an unsigned pull up for two cars at a time and therefore one has to park on the street to load/unload. Hotel parking was chargeable and on-street parking limited. The front door was a large sliding glass door that was difficult to recognise as an entrance/exit as it looked just like a glass wall. WORST ASPECT: The swimming pool was surrounded by trees shedding dates and other small fruit and seed pods, which ended up in the pool with rotting bits and sodden decaying leaves. Not enticing. Sun beds were however pretty good. Most annoying for me there was only ONE English TV channel which did not work anyway! We were give a "disabled" room which were not expecting and therefore the bathroom was rather strange for a NON wheelchair user. The breakfast was OK with FRESH orange juice, turkey slices, decent cheese and fruit at least but was otherwise an unremarkable buffet, with very poor bacon and even poorer mini processed 'frankfurter' style sauages. The eggs when caught fresh were good. .Come early as later on the food became dry and unappetising.

The spa and treatments and special offers. The hotel in general.

No food available at lunchtime Monday after complaining the manager made a modest reduction in our overall bill. Booking.com directions not could. They need to be updated.

Not a 4 star hotel in my opinion and not great value for money.

- Parking space. - Very nice staff. - Big room, big terrace with nice pool view.

- Really strong sewer smell in the bathroom. So bad it became impossible to stay in the room even though there were two closed doors between the room and the bathroom. Sink seemed clogged. Same smell in other areas of the hotel too. - Didn’t seem very clean, toilet especially. - Quite outdated and in need of refurbishing. - Locarion - pretty remote.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, but that didn't bother us because we had a car. The room was a great size, the pool is good but cold. I didn't like the breakfast and the staff at the breakfast. One day there was green tea, but the next day there was none and the staff does not want to look in the kitchen to see if there is any. It's the same for many other things, they don't want to supplement, but wait for the guests to eat what they have. It's not bad, but it's not worth more than the €100 a night we paid.

4 Star Hotel with a 5 Star service! Fantastic Hotel would definitely recommend.

Very good Hotel with an amazing pool set in lush tropical gardens. Always sun loungers available and we loved the fact that everyone observed the no reserving rule. Pool lovely and long for lengths and very refreshing for a cool down from the hot sun. Plenty of shade under the palm trees too. All in all we had a brilliant time at the Hotel and the best thing about it was the staff. The service we received from them was second to none and we thought they were possibly the friendliest, most helpful, hardworking staff we have ever come across. Nothing was too much trouble and it really made our stay enjoyable. Our room was cleaned beautifully every day and the bed was large and extremely comfy. The balcony was roomy and had a lovely view overlooking the pool and gardens and out to sea. The food is the best value for money. We were blown away that for Euros23 we could get a 3 course meal in the restaurant and the food was amazing (very big portions too). Drinks were also reasonably priced and the service in the restaurant was quick and attentive. Breakfast was nice too with a good selection and everything laid out perfectly. On the last day we discovered room service and what a treat it was to eat our meal on the balcony with wine and a view! Would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing break and enjoy the sunshine. Taxis are on hand outside if you want to venture out and about.

The wi-fi was quite weak in places and a couple of times it kicked us off and we were using our 4G. The surrounding area outside is quite busy and it was sad to see litter on the streets and pavements. We were quite surprised that the Hotel had no facilities for re-cycling and there is a lot of plastic that gets thrown in the domestic waste, which is a shame, but it seems like this is normal for this area.

Great value, spotless hotel with friendly staff.

Room was large, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good for continental which I prefer. English breakfast didn’t look great but you are in Spain! Lovely spa. Very pleasant, helpful receptionists. Spoke both English and Spanish to them. Rooms were quiet despite being near a main road. Lovely balcony too.

Great except shower situation

They have fitted new sinks and new shower and after 20 minutes trying to get the shower to work I left the hotel without. No shower needs to have operating instructions which it has. But even so no water came out of the shower. Disappointing

A very relaxing stay

The staff was amazing, polite and super helpful, they make you feel welcomed the moment to step into the hotel. Very relaxing hotel and Sps is one of the best we have gone too around the coast.

Was a bit disappointed with the buffet choice we had paid €40 euros a litrally there was only 4 choices of food and that’s it. Restaurant set menu food was amazing. Was also disappointed as the bar finishes at 12 and there is no music or enough outside space to chill whilst taking a drink.

I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family

I love the outside space on room 401 it was way beyond expectation

When I went down for breakfast the eggs, sausages, beans and bacon was cold which ruined my breakfast. That’s the only thing I could fault. You need to get some better heaters to keep the food HOT whilst it’s in the tray. Nobody wants a cold fry up.

Amazing stay, helpful and friendly staff

We loved the food at dinner and breakfast. Comfy pillows and beds, we didn't get a chance to try the pool but all looked amazing. Also staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The food was good, but there is no a la Carte for dinner, and there is too much food in the set menu. You don't want to waste but that is impossible to eat. The first course is like a main, the main course is like a double main. And then there is a dessert. A bit of calorie count would really help guests to enjoy the dinner more. You cannot possibly eat 1500/2000 calories at 9 /10pm at night. But you pay for them as the set menu is the only option.
